With China RoHS, some of the Certificates of Compliance submitted by your suppliers for EU RoHS will not be useful. Additionally, you must understand how your finished products or components will be tested for CCC (China Compulsory Certification) and how to organize large volumes of data.

In this workshop, “China RoHS Due Diligence: Data Management, Testing, and Certificates of Compliance” we will discuss various test methods, how to effectively manage your compliance data, and what information to look for in a Certificate of Compliance. This 90-minute online workshop is intended for companies that know the basics of China RoHS but need direction on how to validate compliance to ensure that their marking and declarations will be accurate.

Bijan
Dastmalchi
Bijan Dastmalchi is a principal at Symphony Consulting, Inc.
(www.symphonyconsult.com), an outsourcing and supply chain
consulting company located in Sunnyvale, California. Bijan
has more than 15 years of experience in outsourcing, strategic
procurement, supply chain, and materials management, with
extensive experience with managing EMS relationships. Bijan
spent seven years at Hewlett-Packard in a number of management
and leadership roles in supply chain management. In his last
assignment at HP, his organization was responsible for over
$300M annual purchases in mass storage products for HP's Network
Server Division.

Bijan has also worked at Trimble Navigation, two start-ups,
and prior to starting Symphony Consulting, was Director of
Semiconductor Procurement at Solectron Corporation's Global
Supply Management, overseeing an organization responsible
for over $1B in annual purchases.
Bijan
holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of
California, Berkeley, and an MBA from Santa Clara University.
He is a member of the faculty at the University of Phoenix
and teaches MBA courses in Global Management.
