What does a robust China RoHS compliance program look like?
What are other companies doing to address its requirements and keep the costs of compliance to a minimum?
How are China RoHS and EU RoHS different? China RoHS is not EU RoHS. There are significant differences between China RoHS and EU RoHS in the structure, implementation, and enforcement of the requirements. The need for a different business response is reinforced by China's legal infrastructure, which is unfamiliar to many US companies. Complying with China RoHS requires a well thought-out strategy that is cost-effective, thorough, and resilient to the ambiguities surrounding the requirements.
At the "China RoHS Forum", Symphony Consulting, Baker & McKenzie, Arena Solutions, Finisar and WSP will provide you with deep insight into China RoHS requirements, answer your questions, and create a forum where you can interact with one another to learn about "best practices" and strategies for compliance. We have lined up four experts (listed below) that will lead the discussion with their unique perspectives on RoHS for this Forum discussion. The following areas will be covered:
- Compliance
- Documentation
- Implementation
- Enforcement
Because this is an interactive event, not only will you will learn from the experts, but more importantly, from your peers.
